All 10 candidates for president are approved by the NPP vetting committee.
All ten candidates for the special Electoral College election have been approved by the vetting committee of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The 10 candidates are Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, Joe Ghartey, Francis Addai-Nimoh, Kwadwo Poku, Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, Boakye Agyarko, and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to a news release issued on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, and signed by NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, the party’s National Council will discuss the recommendations of the Vetting Committee on July 20, 2023.
