Today, James Gyakye Quayson will take the oath of office as the representative for Assin North.
This morning, Alban S.K. Bagbin, Speaker of the House, announced it.
During a visit to Graphic to meet with management and the editorial team, he was speaking.
The purpose of the Speaker’s working trip to Graphic was to speak with the editing department’s management and staff.
This is consistent with the Speaker’s goal of improving relations between the Parliament and the media.
Since being elected Speaker of Parliament, it is the Speaker’s first official visit to a media organization.
He was accompanied by a few of his office’s employees.
