Daniel Amartey , a center back with the Black Stars, has been added to the list of players who Leicester City expects to let go this season.

After a terrible season, the Foxes, who won the English Premier League in 2016, were demoted from the top division.

Consequently, it has been planned that a few well-known players will leave the team in June when their contracts expire.

Amartey, a member of the Foxes team who won the league in 2016, had significant difficulties at the King Power stadium after suffering a terrible injury during their Premier League match against West Ham in 2018. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Despite that potentially career-ending injury, the 28-year-old made a good comeback and went on to play 145 times for the Foxes across all competitions, making three goals and one assist in the process.

Along with Caglar Soyuncu, a Turkish defender who joined the team in 2018 from Freiburg, he would be departing the organization.

Additionally departing after announcing his departure on Instagram is Youri Tielemans. He joined from Monaco in 2019 and stayed for four years before announcing his departure.

The other players who are anticipated to depart the King Power following the expiration of their contracts are Nampalys Mendy, Ryan Bertrand, Ayoze Perez, and Tete.
