Mourinho’s Roma into Europa League final
By holding Bayer Leverkusen to a scoreless draw in the second leg of their semi-final match, Jose Mourinho’s Roma team advanced to the Europa League final.
The Italian team advanced thanks to Edoardo Bove’s goal in the first leg’s 1-0 victory for them.
In the first half of the second leg, Moussa Diaby hit the crossbar for Xabi Alonso’s team, but they were unable to score.
Roma advances to the May 31 final in Budapest.
Mourinho has triumphed in each of his previous five European championship games, including Roma’s Europa Conference League victory last year.
