The highly gifted Ghanaian winger Ernest Nuamah’s first-choice offer from Stade Reims has been rejected by Danish football club FC Nordsjaelland.

Numerous European clubs have expressed interest in Nuamah, a sought-after forward, with Reims and Ajax leading the competition to sign him.

The French Ligue 1 team’s opening offer of €18 million was turned down by the Danish Superliga’s power brokers.

Because they value this talented young player highly, FC Nordsjaelland is holding out for a price slightly more than €20 million, or roughly 150–200 million Danish Kroner.

If this fee is agreed upon, it would break FC Nordsjaelland’s previous transfer record established by Kamladeen Sulemana, another Ghanaian player who joined Stade Rennes in 2021 for €20 million.

Even though a Premier League team has expressed interest in the 19-year-old explosive winger, the storied Dutch club Ajax has not yet made an official bid for him.

In just three games, Nuamah has already scored four goals and provided an assist during his Danish Superliga career. A tribute to his fantastic start to the season was his selection as both the Player of the Month and the Young Player for July as a result of this outstanding performance.
