Sadio Mane was dropped from the Bayern team after an alleged altercation with Leroy Sane.
Following charges that he hit his teammate Leroy Sane in the face following their 3-0 Champions League loss to Manchester City on Tuesday, Sadio Mane has reportedly been taken out of Bayern Munich’s squad for their upcoming game against Hoffenheim.
According to reports, after the confrontation, the two players had to be separated by their teammates.
Mane has been dismissed from the team owing to “misconduct,” according to Bayern, and he will also be fined.
After the game, Mane reportedly complained to Bild about Sane’s conduct, but neither player has addressed the alleged incident.
On their way back to Germany, Mane was picked up individually at the airport, while Sane took the team bus.
Next Wednesday will be Bayern’s home match against Manchester City in their quarterfinal second leg.
