On Thursday, November 9, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia hosted Czech Prime Minister H.E. Petr Fiala at the Jubilee House.

The two-day historic visit by the Prime Minister is underway.

As the first prime minister from the Czech Republic to visit Ghana, Prime Minister Fiala’s visit has the possibility of enhancing the two nations’ already-existing relations.

They had bilateral talks about areas of current cooperation, such as economics, agriculture, health, defense, and security, as well as new areas we can investigate, like technology, trade, and mechanized agriculture, for the mutual benefit of the two nations.

According to Dr. Bawumia, the Czech Republic has been an important strategic ally in Ghana’s growth.

He used the chance to express his gratitude to Prime Minister Fiala for his nation’s assistance and collaboration.

“Ghana is an excellent place for doing business. We are the most peaceful country in West Africa and the second most peaceful country in Africa. “It is crucial for anyone looking to invest in Africa to consider Ghana as the ideal destination for business,” he said.
