Haaland – I will do everything possible to win treble with City

Erling Haaland, a forward for Manchester City, has pledged to do everything in his power to assist the team in completing an unprecedented triple at the season’s end.

No English club has been able to replicate Manchester United’s incredible feat of winning the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the UEFA Champions League in 1999, but Manchester City is just two final victories away from breaking that mark.

The Cityzens won the recently concluded Premier League and are up against Manchester United and Inter Milan in the FA Cup and Champions League finals, respectively.

Haaland, a key member of the Premier League champions, intends to give everything he has got in those final two games to realize his dream.

Haaland, 22, stated that making this history would be surreal.

We don’t need to hide that this is the reason they acquired me, Haaland said to BBC sports editor Dan Roan.

“Everything would depend on it. I’ll use every effort to attempt to make it happen. My biggest wish, and perhaps it will come true.

But it’s also not simple, he continued, because there are two finals against good teams who will do every effort to undermine it.

They’ll be fired up and prepared, and we need to perform at the top of our game because doing so gives us a great opportunity of succeeding in that goal.

At Wembley Stadium, the FA Cup final will take place on June 3 and the Champions League final will happen a week later.
