All National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidates are encouraged to run honorable campaigns, according to former president John Dramani Mahama.

He instructed them to launch a campaign free of insults.

On Tuesday, April 11, Mr. Mahama, who is running to be the NDC’s flagbearer, stated to delegates as he continued his campaign tour in the Eastern Region, “Let us not resort to insult because we are one family, this is one party, and we are searching for one thing, power.

“Let’s support whoever is chosen as a parliamentary candidate, and you’ll have our support when the time comes.

Not only do we have MPs, but we also have board chairs, ambassadors, DECs, and many more appointments, so even if you don’t run for office as an MP, you will be appointed.

So let’s keep the campaign civil, and when a candidate emerges, let’s all rally behind him or her so that the party can win.
