Beginning on Thursday, February 1, the Electricity Company of Ghana will cut off power to all consumers who are using energy without making a payment.
Operation “No Free Consumption” is the name of the exercise, which will see ECG staff in the field updating customer information such GPS addresses and phone numbers, collecting any arrears and disconnecting customers who don’t pay their bills.
The drill is scheduled to conclude on Thursday, February 15, 2024, having started today.
