UDS : Storey building under construction on campus collapse
The University for Development Studies (UDS) city campus in Tamale had a storey structure under construction fall last Saturday during a downpour.
There was no loss of life. The incident took place late at night when no staff were present.
When Rapid News GH visited the university on Sunday, the area around the incident had been blocked off.
UDS Storey Structure
Graduate programs are offered at the UDS city campus, which also houses the Institute of Distance Education Center and the recently founded School of Business.
The new facility, which is reportedly six stories tall, will assist address the campus’s infrastructure shortage.
