From December 31st, WhatsApp won’t function on these phones (LIST)

Starting on December 31, the instant messaging service WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, will stop supporting a number of handsets from various manufacturers, including Apple and Samsung.
The business discontinues support for devices that are either outdated or using outmoded or ancient operating systems, and this is not the first time it has done so.

Currently, WhatsApp works with Android 4.1 and later, iOS 12, and KaiOS 2.5.0 and later.

After December 31, Whatsapp will no longer function on Android smartphones using earlier-than-5.0 Android versions (Lollipop). For iPhones running iOS 10 and 11, support would also expire.

The following smartphones, according to news reports, won’t get any upgrades starting in the following year, including new features and security patches. The platform will eventually stop functioning on certain smartphones. Nevertheless, the majority of the cellphones on the list are either beyond their prime or have old operating systems. The list of handsets that WhatsApp will stop supporting after December 31 is as follows:
