On Monday (October 2), an articulated truck traveling down the Galenku Hill struck nine automobiles and a motorcycle on Independence Avenue before slamming into an electricity pole, causing havoc in Ho-Bankoe, the center of the Volta Regional capital.

The truck, with the license plate GX 3734-18, was honking its horn obnoxiously as it started the impromptu descent from the hill. This caused some of the occupants of the other cars on the road to get out and run for cover before the mass collision, which threw the cars in all directions and created a commotion among the general public.
