Jon Germain : Hire me to host the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards
Jon Germain, a well-known radio DJ and musician in Ghana, has requested that Charterhouse, the organization behind the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), engage him to emcee the ceremony.
Tonight, Jon Germain tweeted, “They should hire me to host/MC Ghana Music Awards.”
The yearly VGMAs are thought to be the most illustrious occasion on the entertainment calendar of Ghana. Several well-known individuals, including Kwami Sefa Kayi, Nana Aba Anamoah, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), and Chris Attoh as MCs, have presided over events in the past.
The VGMAs took place at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on May 6 and were hosted by Naa Ashorkor, James Gardner, and TV personality Berla Mundi.
At the conclusion of the evening, Black Sherif was named Artiste of the Year. Other performers who received accolades in various categories were Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Piesie Esther, Perez Musik, King Promise, Lasmid, and Epixode.
