Jordan Ayew’s crucial contribution to the recent form rise has earned the Crystal Palace management plaudits.
Jordan Ayew’s recent efforts, which have been crucial to the Eagles’ outstanding run under the English manager Roy Hodgson, have received acclaim from Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson.
Palace defeated Southampton 2-0 over the weekend to earn their third straight win under Hodgson. Following the dismissal of Patrick Vieira, under whose leadership Palace failed to win a game in 2023, Hodgson rejoined the team.
In the past three games, Ayew has contributed two goals and two assists, making him a star performer for Palace. Hodgson thinks the Ghanaian forward is paying back the club for believing in him.
After Southampton’s victory, Hodgson remarked, “He knows us, we know him, and he feels comfortable with what we are asking him to do.” He is rewarding us by playing so brilliantly because he is aware that we would support him.
A one-year contract extension has been given to Ayew in recognition of his outstanding play, keeping him with the team through at least 2024. Ayew shared his joy at the new contract in an interview with London News.
