Opuni case won’t be reopened, according to the Court of Appeal
The Accra High Court’s decision to reopen the trial of Dr. Stephen Kwabena Opuni, the former head of COCOBOD, and businessman Seidu Agongo has been reversed by the Court of Appeal.
A three-member panel of the court today (July 3) ruled unanimously that the trial High Court erred in failing to adopt the earlier records of the six-year trial when a new judge received the case.
